About the Academy
Piano Performance Arts Academy is a thriving piano studio dedicated to cultivating musical excellence, creativity, and confidence in students of all ages. Our academy emphasizes strong technical foundations, artistic expression, and performance opportunities through recitals, festivals, and competitions.
Founded by pianist and educator Aline Giampietro Trifonov, the academy provides a supportive environment where both students and teachers are encouraged to grow musically and professionally.
As our studio continues to expand, we are seeking an Associate Piano Teacher who is passionate about music education and interested in growing within a mentorship-driven studio environment.
Position Overview
This role is ideal for a pianist who enjoys working with children and teens and is eager to refine their teaching skills under the guidance of an experienced educator.
The Associate Piano Teacher will begin by teaching beginner and early-intermediate students, with opportunities to grow into a larger teaching schedule as the studio expands.
Responsibilities
• Teach weekly private piano lessons to beginner and intermediate students
• Foster strong musical foundations including technique, rhythm, and note reading
• Encourage creativity, musical expression, and confidence in students
• Prepare students for recitals and performance opportunities
• Track student assignments and progress
• Communicate professionally with parents regarding student development
• Contribute to a positive and inspiring studio environment
Qualifications
Preferred candidates will have:
• Bachelor’s degree in Piano Performance, Music Education, or related field (or currently pursuing)
• Previous experience teaching piano lessons
• Strong piano technique and musicianship
• Ability to teach music reading, rhythm, and basic theory
• Excellent communication skills with students and parents
• Reliability, organization, and professionalism

• Opportunity for additional hours as the studio grows
